Plastic Surgery In Ukraine

Breast ptosis or sagging breasts is an obsession for women in Ukraine, the chest being a symbol of femininity. Thanks to cosmetic surgery, it is, fortunately, possible to reshape the breasts so that they are more curved and harmonious.

Cure for breast ptosis in Ukraine

Breast ptosis is sagging breasts. The skin that should support them is distended, causing the mammary gland to droop and lowering the position of the nipple. This loosening gives the appearance of sagging breasts.

Breast ptosis surgery also called breast ptosis cure or mastopexy is a breast lift done in Ukraine. This aesthetic surgical procedure provides a solution for women with sagging breasts by raising them, restoring their shape, repositioning the areola and nipple, and removing excess skin. To give volume to the chest, it is possible to add breast prostheses during the procedure.

Indications: when and why do breast ptosis surgery in Ukraine?

Breast ptosis usually occurs after a very significant weight loss, pregnancy, or breastfeeding in Ukraine. It also changes over time. In some women, it appears spontaneously, for no apparent reason.

This problem can also be associated with breast hypertrophy, that is to say, a very bulky or oversized breast compared to the morphology of the patient. This does not spare women with small breasts (breast hypotrophy).

The use of mastopexy is above all a personal decision, for example, if breast ptosis creates a large complex. This aesthetic breast surgery is also indicated if the excessive volume of the breasts becomes difficult to live with because of back pain and sagging. It is possible from the age of 18 in Ukraine.

The objective of the operation in Ukraine is to reshape the breasts to obtain two symmetrical breasts, well positioned, firmer, and with a harmonious curve. The axis of intervention of the surgeon depends on the extent of the problem to be treated:

  • reposition the mammary gland and the nipple,

  • tighten the skin envelope,

  • restore a beautiful volume with the help of prostheses,

  • breast reduction,

  • correct breast asymmetry.

Breast ptosis is a phenomenon that evolves inexorably over time. Surgery only delays it, but it renders great service to the patients.

How is breast ptosis surgery performed in Ukraine?

Before a cure for breast ptosis in Ukraine

It all starts with a consultation with the surgeon to analyze the importance of breast ptosis and outline the details of the operation and the expected results. A pre-operative mammogram may also be requested to detect any abnormality. Other additional examinations may be considered, such as an ultrasound, and a blood test, not to mention a consultation with the anesthetist at least 2 days before the date of the operation.

At the end of this clinical examination in Ukraine, the patient receives an estimate. As with many surgical procedures, aspirin should be avoided for 10 days before the operation in Ukraine. It is also strongly recommended to stop the contraceptive pill a month before, as well as tobacco. However, other medications may be prescribed to reduce post-operative bruising.

During breast ptosis surgery in Ukraine

Breast lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia. During the procedure, the surgeon will work on the fat and the mammary gland while removing excess skin. It will also reposition the areola and the nipple.

Scars are therefore inevitable, but vary according to the extent of the surgical procedure (1 to 3 scars): periareolar scars, vertical below the nipple, and horizontal in the sub-mammary fold. In the case of significant breast ptosis, an anchor-shaped scar is obtained.

The operation is generally painless. However, greater pain may be felt if implants are also placed behind the pectoralis major muscle.

After surgery for breast ptosis in Ukraine

The healing period is one to two weeks and dressings should be changed approximately every day. The sutures used are absorbable, there is no need to remove them. It takes several days for the bruises to disappear.

Prescribed analgesics can relieve postoperative pain. You can also feel a feeling of tension in the breasts in the days following the operation, but this is temporary and perfectly bearable.

Several precautions should be taken:

  • wearing a support or compression bra for a month day and night,

  • ban on exposing the scars to the sun for a year,

  • prohibition to play sports during the month following the intervention

  • no carrying of heavy loads during the 2 weeks after the operation.

Complications may possibly arise in smokers, such as healing defects which may require local care for several weeks. Certain post-operative risks may require a return to the operating room for correction, such as breast asymmetry.

The results of breast ptosis surgery in Ukraine

It is necessary to wait 3 to 6 months in Ukraine to really appreciate the result of the intervention. As for the scars, they take on their final appearance after about a year.

Breast ptosis is a phenomenon that evolves over time and the result is all the more stable in the absence of risk factors for breast ptoses, such as a new pregnancy or a large change in weight.

A successful intervention gives a nice shape to the breasts and a real lifting effect, like a second youth of the chest.
