Hair Transplant In India

The cost of hair transplant procedures varies greatly in India.

The cost of this procedure is calculated on a per hair basis – ie the cost can be $5 ($5) or 250 (Rs. 250) per hair, the average cost in the US, which means 1000 hair transplants. 2,50,000 (Rs. 2.5 lakh) will cost to be transplanted in the US. Apart from this, there will also be some additional charges, such as OT charges, taxes, etc.

Firstly, the cost varies according to the type of process adopted. FUE is more expensive than the strip method, as it has more benefits and can only be offered by a few surgeons. FUE also takes more surgeon's time than the bandage method.

Costs will also vary by region - costs will generally be higher in larger cities than in smaller ones. There are also individual differences among different clinics – clinics with large infrastructure charge more than clinics with smaller, one doctor units with less overhead (although security, sterility, etc. may also be compromised in such units).

Hair transplant cost in India ranges between 40 to 100 per hair. As discussed so far, costs can also vary depending on whether it is FUE or not, the size of the center. In Kolkata and New Delhi, the cost of an FUE transplant in a standard clinic ranges between Rs 50 to 70 per graft for FUE. The cost can reach $100 per graft in some luxury clinics. Medical costs are high in metros, which is not affordable in an area like the North East.

Aarogya Hair Transplant Clinic offers an attractive discounted cost per graft cost of 45 per graft for up to 1000 grafts (earlier the cost was 50).

For major procedures above 2000 grafts with special discount up to Rs. 40 per graft is provided. In addition to this cost, there is a small OT charge that varies with the time of the procedure and is not affected by the number of grafts. Most people in the North-East offer around 500 to 1000 grafts in a single session due to various obstructions and thus the average cost for a transplant is usually between 24,000 to 48,000.

These prices are fixed hospital prices and remain the same for all. Prices are already under heavy discount and no other discount is given beyond this.

These figures are for the total cost and there are no other hidden costs. External costs include approximately 1000 tests required for the downtown OT and 600 for registration. Medicines are not expensive, they cost around 600.

In India, the costs are kept to a minimum. This is being done in spite of the process done through FUE and using completely modern OT theater with complete safety and sterility of Hospital OT and its staff. This allows the North-East region to offer the full benefits of this process. Individuals with high-level baldness usually require 1000 to 2000 hairs, whereas people with low-level baldness with a lack of hairline in the area of the temple can see a very good effect with usually only 500 hairs.

A major advantage of the FUE procedure is that it allows the patient to go through the procedure in multiple stages so that the cost is not incurred at the same time. This was not possible in the old strip method. For example, a person who needs 1500 hairs to cover his bald area can do only 500 hairs in one session, then the next 500 hairs after 3-6 months and then the remaining hairs in a third time, And thus can split the expense. This way he can get the same benefit as 'Pay in Installments' without coming under financial stress.

500 hairs can be used to give a nice thick 'forelock', which is quite effective in reducing the look of baldness. In fact, more hair is applied to improve the overall effect.

An advantage of such spread-out sessions of transplantation is that the hair growth is not very dramatic and noticeable. Celebrities and others who are constantly in the limelight often prefer to go for such distributed sessions so that there is no sudden change in appearance that can lead to comment.

Hair transplant is a one-time cost. It has absolutely no other maintenance costs and the hair will last you the rest of your life without needing any care. Hair gives you a youthful and youthful appearance and helps not only socially but also in the career of a person.

The transplant will not only change your look but it will also give you more confidence and competence; As many research studies have shown that people have a tendency to trust more people with hair as compared to bald individuals.

Sometimes people are paid very little value after making inquiries over the phone or on the website. It should be remembered that such a value is always questionable. It is entirely up to the patient to ensure that he does not fall under the clutches of any visiting clinic. Such clinics will offer anything to get the client into their grasp and it is only known when they reveal their true face.
